I really love this place, it is my go-to when I have to work late & want to pick something up for my partner & I for dinner. We LOVE poke and were so happy when this place opened; I was scared they might not make it through the Covid epidemic but they're still here and I'm SO glad they are. I stopped by a couple weeks ago & was happy to see the same guy working there, I wish I remembered his name but he's always very friendly, helpful and just a good energy about him! Their bowls are always fresh, tasty and packed -- a great deal for the price! A nice selection & variety, too! We all know how much food is going up these days, eating out is more of a treat than ever but I don't feel gouged or ripped off here in the least. As I mentioned, the food is FRESH and tastes great, they've got the proportions down great and I am always full and content after dinner! I highly recommend Aloh-o to any Poke fan or really Anyone looking for a delicious, healthy meal. Aloh-O-YES!
Best poke place I've ever been to. I've tried a lot of different places in the country and nothing beats this place. Best place I've ever been to. Highly recommend and it is super consistent. It always tastes fresh & delicious.
Easy ordering process and they are quick too! The peach green tea was super good! I also got a poke bowl and it was delicious, all of the ingredients were Incorporated perfectly.
I think this place is fantastic. Whether I want a rice bowl or a salad they are awesome. Lots of toppings to choose from and all the proteins are great. Fresh sashimi grade fish options or perfectly cooked teriyaki meats. Milk teas are also a nice treat, made to your liking! Super quick, friendly service!
My wife and I tried Aloh-o for the very first time on July 23, 2024. It was amazing how easy it was to get your items ordered. Instead of a cashier taking the order there was a touch screen menu where you got to select what you put on your poke bowl. Everything from rice or chips as the base to all the options. We both had raw cold poke bowls which is how we prefer to each ours, but they have other options such as a hot poke bowl as well. Ambiance was that the restaurant itself is a little small but they have outdoor seating to eat if you so choose. Since it was going to be a hot day we decided it best to just take our food with us. My wife also ordered a boba tea which was absolutely wonderful and well made. The service of the employees as you walk in is warm and welcoming. They offered to help us with any questions we had regarding the ordering on the touch screen menu. All the food tasted great and fresh with no frozen food in site at least to my taste buds. Overall, absolutely a wonderful experience with friendly staff welcoming everyone in who came through the door. That is what I call customer service.
I will keep going here-the boba was very good. It's nice to find a truly not-sweet tea with the correct level of bitterness-to-sweet ratio. On top of that, the staff found my wallet on one of their tables outside, waited till my friend got there, and then questioned them ( to ensure she wasn't stealing my wallet ) before releasing it to them. Thanks, Aloh-o, you've made a forever customer out of me!
I love the big portions that I was given for my poke bowl. Many poke bowl places usually charge extra for multiple toppings so I was super surprised that this place didn't. I was able to load my bowl! I came during a rush hour so it took a while to make, but that's totally okay I was willing to wait. The staff was nice and tried to make orders as fast as they could. My only "con" would be that it was super hot inside. I wanted to dine in but it felt very stuffy. Maybe the AC is broken? I just ate at the tables outside. Other than that, food and service was good.
Aloh-o is a cute casual restaurant, the inside was very clean and sanitary. It was my first time experience, which was very pleasant. The staff was nice and welcoming. I ordered two drinks and one custom made Poke-bowl. For my drinks I ordered a coffee milk tea and a Thai tea, the coffee milk tea tasted straight up like coffee which was what we wanted, and the Thai tea had a light flavor, not a very strong taste. However, I did get honey boba in both drinks and I was disappointed as the boba had no flavor. Definitely worst boba I've had. For my custom Pokebowl, it was on the pricier side as it was $15, and I was a bit skeptical as it was my first time. However, I was not disappointed with the portion size, I got a tuna bowl and the fish tasted fresh, and of course I customized it to my liking so it was delicious! Definitely would go again for a casual lunch.
This place is really good! Having my recently returned from Hawaii, I had high standards for poke. Seriously high. While this couldn't match the caught-fresh-the-same-day level of yum, there was plenty to love about an Aloh-o poke bowl. For one thing: the options. You can customize your bowl in a seemingly endless number of ways. I'd never thought about fried onions, but you know what? The crunch was really good. Second, they are really generous with scoops of fish. I had tuna or salmon in nearly every bite. Third, it's a really good deal. $15 for a good-sized bowl. If you want extra fish, it's $3. This will become a regular place for us.
